Since 2014, when the association was founded, we have been carrying out increasingly ambitious projects with ever-more-limited financial resources, which is why we are asking you to support us,. Us, as well as,all of our projects.
How?
With HelloAsso, you can support the organization CLAP ! Ça Tourne ! with no hidden fees. Of course, you can also make a contribution to HelloAsso to help fund their platform.
Why should I help you?

An independent group with no money.
We are an independent collective. We do not receive public funding, so we are forced to self-finance our projects as well as the association’s operating expenses. This system quickly reaches its limits, and yet our collective is essential. It is through our collective that we are able to create our ambitious projects, which otherwise would never see the light of day.
From the filming…
Filming costs a fortune. Setting aside salaries—since most of the time we manage to film on a volunteer basis—we still need to scrape together at least a little nest egg for costumes, makeup, sets, transportation, and food.
Our advantage—or rather, our strength—is our inventory of semi-professional equipment, which allows us to keep costs down from one project to the next. Even though this equipment is made available to the association and, by extension, its members, it still requires maintenance…

To post-production…
The postproduction also incurs costs: we have to pay licensing fees for music or for the recording of the original soundtrack, the cost(s) of special effects especially when we were using effects derived from effects bank, but also when we made them ourselves and needed either high-performance machines (hosted in the Cloud)for renderings, or even for software licenses that enable us to create our special effects. We also have to consider the cost of the hard drives for our servers, which store our 12 terabytes of raw footage…
Including distribution…
Then, once the film is finished, we have to submit it to festivals, where the costs can quickly skyrocket from €4 over €100.
We must ensure that communication about our films which always comes at a cost, and then organize events that enable our projects to to get known and to be seen.
Not to mention the legal requirements—which are mandatory for theatrical films: exhibition license, ISAN number.

In short.
We remain committed to making films. Despite our limited resources and the challenges we face. The organization has been active for the past twelve years, and we are well aware that at present: It’s tough on everyone.
We’re not asking for much—a small donation from you means a lot to us. It allows us to redirect our funds toward our projects rather than toward our operating costs.

What about accountability?
Asking for money is easy. You’re probably wondering what we do with it, aren’t you?
At CLAP ! Ça Tourne ! Our philosophy is transparency. Your contributions allow us to continue our work, so you can find our general reports right here on this page.
